FAQ

The Good What?

By organizing a rally with children battling illness, we bring them moments of joy that are essential in their fight. We want the thrill of driving and the adrenaline of speed to help them regain energy, hope, and a vision of life beyond the four walls of the hospital.

The Good Ride is a sponsored rally: where the passion for beautiful vehicles meets solidarity. 🚗✨ Drivers open their doors to children, offering them an unforgettable ride, while friends, families, and sponsors “sponsor” them through donations. In the end: smiles in the rear-view mirror, and funds raised to improve the daily lives of children and their families. 💖

Drive for Miles Spirit

Beyond the beauty of the cars and the thrill of driving, it is above all a moment of sharing. Sick children become co-pilots for a day. Families experience a moment of escape, far from the weight of illness. Drivers and sponsors show their commitment by bringing comfort and raising essential funds.

The money raised through sponsorship goes directly to financing projects or events for children and their families. In short, the sponsored rally is not just an automotive event: it is an engine of hope and solidarity, where every kilometer driven becomes a concrete resource to improve the lives of children.

How to participate?

It is not rocket science: you — enthusiasts of beautiful cars, motorcycles, or splendid sidecars — come and ride with your exceptional vehicle for a day. You will take on board a sick child and perhaps one of their family members (depending on space).

Each driver participates not only with their vehicle, but also by raising funds from friends, family, or companies who “sponsor” their participation. To do so, the pilot creates a fundraising page on our platform, through which generous donors can contribute. We ask you to gather €250 per vehicle before the ride. It's a minimum to organize activities for the children suffering from cancer.

The €15 registration fee covers the organizational costs of the day.

How sick are these children?

During The Good Ride©, we welcome children who have had cancer and who love to ride. These children, now in remission, take part in our Good Ride© together with their brothers and sisters, their parents, and sometimes their best friends, to enjoy a day of relaxation. It is an activity full of positive energy for everyone.

In the case of pediatric cancer, remission means a period when the disease is under control, with symptoms reduced or no longer detectable through medical tests. It is an important milestone, but not necessarily a cure, as relapse remains possible.

The children who participate register through their local hospital or parent organization, which then forwards the application depending on the child’s health condition.

When and where?

As soon as you are registered and have paid your participation fee, you will receive the complete program: schedule, starting locations, etc.

You will also be able to consult the list of crews (other fundraising pages) and discover the profiles of the other registered drivers.

What is the money for?

In every city where we ride, The Good Ride© pilots build a profile and raise funds to support the projects and enriching activities that children with cancer and their families can take part in. The specific projects are detailed for each event day.

Funds raised at each GOOD RIDE© are distributed as follows: half goes toward on-site vendor costs — rentals, food and drinks for the children, their siblings, and their parents; a quarter covers organizational expenses, online infrastructure, and banking fees; one eighth funds prizes, entertainment, and gifts for the children at the event; and the final eighth is carried over as a reserve for the next edition.
